First car 351 H Code 73 Mach 1 totalled in college
I emailed him asking for the report. Looks like a 2F02R to me.
I like that it has the full chrome front. Also, I have only seen one and I can't find it now, but there are pics out there of a fastback with the hockey stripes and instead of Mach 1 it says 351 HO Mustang. That was the original name they were going to use for the Boss 351. I just want to know if in fact Ford used that on some of the non mach R Codes.I emailed him asking for the report. Looks like a 2F02R to me.

1972 Ford Mustang R Code - $13500 (Sugar Hill)
1972 Mustang R code. This is a left over Boss 351. There were only 318 R codes built in 1972. This is a very rare car. It is going to need a complete restoration. Does have some rust issues but I do have some extra sheet metal that will go along with the car if the price is right. I have a Marti Report documenting the car. It is matching #'s. Almost all of the hard to locate parts are here. Factory 3:91 rear gear. Does have original shfter as well as the Transmission.
Thanks for looking

"Mustang by the Number" book also states for 1972 production,Wonder how rare the white on red color combo is? Can't say I've seen many if any around my area.
If I had the funds and a garage built I would already be on the way. But the wife wants the kitchen redone first. That is why I am posting everything I find so someone may get it from here. Its a very interesting car. Thanks for posting.

Ray remove the stripes and man you have one sweet sleeper!I just noticed it is equipped with a non ram-air (standard) hood.
Wish he had a pic of the car with the hood down.
Neat car.
