My Car
73 Blue Glo Mach 1
I am thinking of putting billet specialtiies legacy wheels on my ride. If Anyone else has got them or halibrand sprints or wheels of a similar style I would love some pics :):) I mocked one up on the game gt5 or froza not sure which but it had a 71 mach 1 you can customise a bit.

here's a more side on pic,

Another rim I liked in 18' inch, which would look good on these cars is the American Racing Hopster's,

Pegasus, I absolutely LOVE these wheels on your car. ::thumb::

But only (and I mean only) thing I don't like is having such small sidewalls on the tires - it makes the wheels look too "square-ish" from certain angles (I prefer the little bit of 'balloon' effect of 50+ series tires).

Seeing awesome cars like this with rims that work well with the lines, is exactly why I'm struggling with which wheels to get for mine. They're going to be aftermarkets, for sure, and I'm currently stuck between Torque Thrusts and Cragar S/Ss - but right now leaning toward the S/Ss.

Good luck with your decision - and post pics... if nothing more than to help me decide. ;) :p

I am running torque thrust d's on mine and love them. I like how the gray centers go with the pewter of the car. Not a great pic that all I have on the computer at work .

Your cars look all great with the torque thrusts. The hopsters look very close to the sprints and the legacy wheels and I like a bit of side wall so they would be 15s. My Blue Glo car would look trick with Torque Thrust Ds. :)

I've got Torq-Trust II's On my 72, 18's front and rear..
Looks awesome. I was leaning towards the Coy C-57 wheels but after seeing these I may reconsider. The only thing that jumps out at me is that these are polished aluminum and I was really leaning towards chrome. Now I'm wondering about the pros and cons of polished aluminum versus chrome. I thought I would be able to tell but I honestly thought your wheels were chrome until I looked at the specs

Thanks,

Thanks, those are the rims, they came very polished and shinny from Summit, since that I've probably only cleaned/repolished them once every six months, using this stuff,

doesn't take long as I normally work it into my cleaning/detailing session on the car once every six months or so..

I tried to find it then I realized that it's an Aussie product, not sold in the states. I'm sure there is a comparable product here. I guess I'm really surprised that they look like chrome in the pictures. Do they look that good in person as well?

check out the torq thrust 2 with the pvd coating. american racing vn815 torque thrust 1 pc bright pvd . looks like chrome but more durable look on the web for .what is pvd coating.
I tried to find these but they do not appear to offer them in the 18" size I'm looking for. This is what I'm trying to match up:
