Hello gurus,

I'm either setting up with steel wheels or Magnums. No matter which, they will be 15". I want to run Cobras or something better.

Does anyone know a business with a white wall machine that can source , whitewall and ship tires in the US?

Are you going for an original look or a modded look?

Just curious as 14 inch wheels, rings and caps ran the whitewall tires but 15's were always equipped with "Black Sidewall" Raised White Letter tires.

At least that is my understanding.

If you are indeed going for unique/custom look - rock on brother! After you get them mounted, post up some pics.

Hi James,

You may address me as your most wonderfull guru.:p:p

Hey, check out this company in Melbourne. I've done business with them for my wheels and tyres, and were very happy dealing with them.

Hope that helps,

Thanks Greg! I can get them done in Australia, I need them in the US.

Thanks Don, that was a helpful site. I am after "pinstripe whitewalling" on modern tires. Anyone know of someone with a pinstriping machine?

Yes the whitewall available for the 71-3 Mustangs was only available on the 14" tires/wheels. There were no 15 inch whitewall tires offered.

This car sits a little high for me but these tires look about right for the original type 14" :
Comparing the stripe to the outer flat edge of the trim ring it looks like that particular stripe is 1/2-inch. Looks like a good combo to me.

James try Diamond Back Tires. They will custom build a tire for you in any size and any white stripe. From the website click on the tires button and open the high res catalog, on page 12 there is information about custom designs and also the "beauty bar" which replicates the look of a bias ply tire on a modern radial.
