My vert turns 42 today.

Exactly 42 years ago, on December 7th 1971, my car left the assembly line in Dearborn as a medium brown metallic convertible, almost fully loaded and with a white top and left for its home in Luxembourg a few days later.

She's come a long way since then.

A shortened driveshaft for the new AOD but the shop is delaying it further. :-(

No, I guess she'd been spoiled rotten. During the last two weeks she got an AOD, lots of Lokar stuff to make it work, a new transmission crossmember, new brake pads, a Rocketman idiot light tach and a console clock sponsored by user Eddyw.

I guess that's more than enough. My wife complains I'm treating the car better than her.
