Engine Code Decal Help?

Hi guys,

I got this engine code decal for my RH side front of valve cover. These were apparently punched at the factory depending on some date.

Two questions...

Bottom of sticker letters A through M is the month I believe

Next row of 1 2 3 is year I assume

Bottom row of 1 through 0 I have no idea???

What date do I punch these with build date??

Here are the photos of the 73 vert I have share with you. These may help guide you.

Based upon this my estimate would be

First row - Month (This example E- May)

Second Row - First number of day (This example 2- 2X)

Third Row - Second number of day (This example 1-21)

Actual build date - 05/25/73
