where to buy 72new or rebuilt power brake booster

ok so I ordered a rebuilt power brake booster of amazon. said it was for a 72 but it clearly sticks out farther into the engine bay. there is a plate welded on the back where it mounts on the firewall and this plate has the studs attached to it. its cardone part number 73-53402? I believe. I looked on auto zone website. the one picture shows the one I got but when I look at the masteryclinder/ power booster combo it looks like the correct original booster? anyone have any idea where I can get one or mine rebuilt. I refuse to pay 300 on mustangs unlimited for a rebuild service.

 
I got mine rebuilt at rockauto.com for around $120 including booster and master cylinder. They did not have a core so had to send mine in for rebuild.

ok so whats the reasoning behind the stupid plate they add to the unit? it doesn't make sense that's not how it came. I cant find anywhere that sells one for power disc brakes without the bracket? im going to try and post a picture

ok so I see two choices on rock auto one is a cardone reman other is centric reman whats the difference?? any input on my picture?

 
I actually went to my local national auto parts. They sent it to car done for me. Was only 88 dollars for the rebuilding of my unit. Should be back in a week!

 
national auto is a chain here in pa. they do have a website
