Going to start a build thread on this car..I've already posted a bunch of stuff videos on the car & what I've done so far..As it sits now just waiting on the motor & tranny to be done(should be end of this month) Faux 351cj with 4r70w tranny controlled by a baumann quick1 controller..Motor compartment was redone..New suspension is installed..underside cleaned up detailed..new pypes exhaust & a bunch of other stuff...pulled got rid of the entire 429/460 drivetrain & c-6 tranny.....My parts pile is getting larger by the day ! Hope I have nice weather for march !

Looking good Q, as always. Since I have my front grille area apart, I think I am going to take out my headlight boxes and refinish them as you did. Did you blast them before repaint? Keep up the excellent work!

Thanks ! Yes all those parts were media blasted..then epoxy primed..then Krylon satin black

I really like that intake too ! The motor build is kinda old school spec..but updated modern internals..Should be a nice mix..

so since you are working on this green one now, is the other one done?
No not yet..Close..I wasn't intending to do much work on this green one it was supposed to be was advertised as a you can drive anywhere car so I thought that was what I was buying..Not the case..On the plus side it was a very rust free car.

Out of curiosity, what was wrong with the Ford Racing 460 SCJ (M-6007, I believe?) crate motor?
