Did you guys put a spell checker on this board?

When I type a message I am shown what words

are misspelled and sometimes they even get

corrected as I type.

mike

Do not know for sure as on my COTM I deliberatly misspelled the word buttier knife and it is still their but only did that as own signature of all my work.

There are other irritating things about IE11.

I like the spellchecker but those highlighted

red words that show an ad if the cursor passes

over one. That is irritating. Anyway to disable

that. Also just discovered my local access to parts

of the hospital's portal no longer works. Claims to

be incompatible with my current browser.

Got to love software updates not being compatible.

we Just updated our work Laptops to Windows 7, most of our field software tools are not compatible, XP only.

With the medical offices that I support we have to remove ie 11 and roll back to 9, then block the ie 10 and 11 updates. The new browsers just won't work with the majority of sites and the medical field are some of the last to update their host systems. Especially radiology systems have some of the oldest technology.

It is not the hospital so much as the Etime app

that you use to clock in/out, do self scheduling,

ask for days off etc. Won't work from home. Etime

did do a recent software "upgrade".

We don't use passwords or usernames much anymore,

you swipe your badge over the keyboard. You can be

working on a patient chart at one computer terminal,

swipe your badge to logoff then go to another terminal,

swipe again and the same info is brought up. That is

a popular feature with the staff.
