Lack of planning has gotten me painted into a corner. We have modified the brakes and I am in need of a 16 or17 inch rim to clear. We are still in the early stages of a rebuild and just need to move the car around by hand. Does anybody have an idea what make and model of car would have a donut that would fit the bolt pattern? The only rims I had found were from an explorer. We could shim the rear to provide clearance but they would not clear the ball joint on front. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the spare from a current year Mustang?

Thanks for the input. Will run the options by the local salvage yards- see what pops up.

I used two spare tires from a Ford Probe/Mazda 626. They fit on the rear drums, but interfere with the dsc brake calipers at the front.

Anyway, they were a nice help in moving the car around at the shop and in my garage.

so did datsun and they even had a spacesaver spare very similar to ours
