Haven't decided on the engine combo yet. The 429 is out of a 71 LTD, the one in my 73 came out of a T-Bird, 70 or 71, no I did not stroke it. Its just a mild build, 429 block bored .030 over, stock crank, 268h comp cams, comp cams valve train, stock DOVE heads, Performer intake, Carter 625 carb, C6 trans with shift kit and a 3.25 Trac. lock, just a nice street cruiser.Have you decided whether or not you are going to use the other 429/C6 that you have in this project?
What is the origin of the 429 you are using and are you stroking it and while I am "on it", did you stoke the '73?
As others have said, LOOKING GOOD!

. The rims are US Mags Bandits, 18x8 frt and 18x9 rear. For tires I'm running Nitto Extreme nt555 285/40/18 on the rear. I haven't decided on what size for the front yet, either a 245/40/18 or 255/45/18. In the picture I have one of the rear tires mounted on the front just to see what it would look like. I think I may have to lower the rear an inch or two to get the stance I want. It sits a little high right now. I have 1" lowering springs in the front and new stock leafs in the back. Here's a picture with the rims mounted on my red Mach. It still looks like it sits a little high. That's with stock leafs also, they're 13 yrs old. What rim and tire combo you using there?? Aluminum 17 magnums....love the look of those!! Look like they will fit nicely when your all set and done.....
That's great work with the paint! Who's kit did you use? Really nice! Here's a few pics of my 72 Mach project.
When you say "kit" are you talking about what kind of paint? For the Red car or the Blue one? That's great work with the paint! Who's kit did you use? Really nice! Here's a few pics of my 72 Mach project.
Damn you and those rims......I bet I've looked at the pics from your red car a hundred times since you posted them....they look great on the car. I bet from the back they will look great too. Did you get them local or order them?? .......jim. The rims are US Mags Bandits, 18x8 frt and 18x9 rear. For tires I'm running Nitto Extreme nt555 285/40/18 on the rear. I bought the wheels off eBay, they were on sale at the time and they had a coupon for $100 off the price of 4. I found the tires on Craigslist.. The rims are US Mags Bandits, 18x8 frt and 18x9 rear.
