Just let engine warm and pulled trans line at radiator and had no flow.

Just a normal drip from line. Guess the pump is gone, and trans will be coming out. Now have 2200 stall and son says will get more giddy up with 2800 stall

Don't run a higher stall than highway driving rpm's. You'll fry your clutches.
Word to the wise. Be careful. You'll get more giddy up by changing the rear-end gearing too and that won't affect trans. life. Why do you think you need a 2800 RPM stall speed? How hot is the cam and how heavy is the car? A "looser" converter is not a quick and dirty way to make a car go quicker, it's required when you have a hot cam and / or numerically lower rear gears (comparatively speaking). You actually want the "tightest" converter that your engine can stand while still giving you a good launch off the line. This gives you the most efficient power transfer and lets the trans run as cool as possible. "Loose" converters create heat. It sounds like you've already fried a trans. Take a look at your ENTIRE setup and then decide what you need to do.
