Hey everyone, my fan switch is intermittent, if I move it up and down slowly it tends not to work, but if I go up and down fast with it it seem to work all of a sudden and stays on Hi. Any words of wisdom on where I can start to correct it? Thanks-

 
I'd measure the voltage at the motor to be sure, but I'd be leaning towarda bad switch. I believe they are easy to take apart. Might just need old grease cleaned out and new white grease put in.

 
The contact to the main switch looks like bad, you can change it, and only this part if the rest is in good condition.
