This air cleaner was in the trunk of the '72 Mach 1 with a 351C-2V I bought a few years ago. It is missing the snorkel and does not have any markings that I can see. It looks like a 1970's vintage Ford part to me. It uses a 13" OD air filter. Does anyone recognize it? Anyone interested in it? It needs a new home.

Is that a factory coat of black?

My gut reaction makes me want to say it's a cleaner off a 1969 Lincoln Continental 462, minus its original snorkel - but that's only an educated guess.

It appears to be factory black paint.

Based on the bump for the distributor cap in relation to the snorkel location we can rule out GM and probably Chrysler.
