Here are a few photos I took at a local car show in Latrobe, PA that Dad & I attended along with my buddy and his 56 Vette! We had one of only two 71-73's out of 237 entered vehicles!
Very nice show!! Car looks great. I was wondering about the classes too. I got my registration for Carlisle this weekend and they have the 71-73's with the 69-70's???Very nice! Car looks sweet! How were the Mustang classes set up? We typically have '64 1/2 - 73 as a class. It varies once in a while but it's pretty standard. How did you fare? I love the color combo on your car and, man, I would find a way to show off those super custom gauges...

Seems like I'm always going up against GT350s (clones, in most cases) and all kinds of early model Mustangs. It's all good... but sometimes challenges.Very nice show!! Car looks great. This show just had 1 class for Mustangs...all years! I didn't win as I was up against the $150K Cobra Jet...but I never go looking to win. I have more fun just going to cruise's!Very nice! We bought it that way...the previous owner said he liked it with out the blacked out lowers, but I think I may add the black at some point. If nothing else, it would help hide road dirt and door alignment imperfections! LOL!Hey Rocketfoot,
I am just curious: why doesn't your car have the lower panels in black?
Yeah, my car is a true Mach 1 but it was restored about 19 years ago. We bought it pretty much as is. Nice thing is that it matches the Hot Wheels Larry's Garage Mach 1 pretty nicely!Plus, it will nimrods like me from assuming it is a chrome-bumpered sportsroof masquerading as a Mach 1!
By the way: where did you get the cool illustration of your car for your signature? I would love to have something like that to put on my new showboard!
Thanks to Texas Mike's unbridled enthusiasm for his new Pewter Cobra Jet, my Mustang-mojo has lately been reignited and is burning brightly. My motorcycle gave me a forlorn look in the garage yesterday. It usually sparkles like a new diamond, but...I haven't even washed it in a while and it shows. The trick to keeping a bike nice is "leading edges". Mine are kind of shabby lately.
How about a blue convertible version!I think I have a red version of that design...I'll see if I can find it!

I don't think I can make those kind of edits...just color changes. Are you able to modify the details ( wheels, bumper, etc...)?
That is awesome! I'd love to get mine autographed someday. I haven't even been able to find the initialed versions anywhere.

Barry,
I met Larry Wood at the Rhode Island Hot Wheels Club Summer Smash 5 back in 2012, and he was checking out my car, and he stated that he owns a 1971 Fastback, he has owned it for many years, but never got around to restoring it.
he was a Really nice guy, and a 71-73 Mustang lover!!!
Though I am a little tardy at looking at your photos of the Lutheran Car Show, they are really nice. Pardon me for cutting in on your site on a different matter, of what kind of armaments?
