In grateful thanks to all those brave men,I tour the battlefields every year if I can and am always humbled.

My son is there this week, with the high school pipe band he teaches. I know they are playing several times over yesterday and today.

I made my first parachute drop on the thirtieth anniversary of D-day, so it has that added meaning for me.

I use to go fishing with a old guy who was on Omaha Beach. His family was close to mine. He would never talk about it, even if you ask, Was a real tuff old bird too.Pray many don't have to go threw that like he did. He passed on and never told a peep even to his family about what happend to him... R.I.P Pete.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them."

Lest we Forget
