I run a free program called addblockerplus. It's great. Even YouTube videos don't show the commercials when they start.

I don't get any pop ups on either my home or work computers or my Kindle.

I just had an experience where my message about SOG knives contained an ad.

I thought it was related to the SOG website because they use the same popup.

I removed the link and it is still there. When I don't logon as a just guest, no ad.

Ran a Malware scan and nothing turned up.

Yes, you have one of those key word recognizing programs loaded on to your computer. They can be tough to find. I'd start with the spam ware killers mentioned above but also look through your program list and uninstall anything that looks like spam ware! (Google names to make sure you don't delete anything you need)

Been using Google Chrome and AdBlock Plus for years and have zero issues with pop-ups on any forum. Just do it.
