Hello everyone. I am fixing my 72 convertible. I found a lot of rust on it so I am cutting out the rust and welding in new metal. I can figure out what most of the pieces should look like but one area I do not. I found the support beam inside the outer and inner rocker panels is gone on the left side, also some of the floor. Does anyone know where I can get information on what it should look like and what gauge metal it is? any info would be great!! I have before and after photos of every thing I have done so far.

If you post some pics I'm sure somebody will be along to help you out. there is quiet a few convertibles on here. In the mean time jump over to the introductions forum on here and introduce yourself so you can get a proper welcome.

Agree with Roy here... that info you can find it here if you show everyone pictures and the especific problem you´re finding... Not only a lot of vert members here but a lot of guys are professionals on bodywork so.. you are in good hands my friend!

Here are some pics I took about three years ago of the inside of my 73 Convertible. The floor was sound, I just did some touch up in spots. I don't have any pics of the undercarriage. Hope this helps some.
