Rearward vision in our cars is not great at the best of times but is not helped in my car by the fact that the finish on the mirror glass on my interior screen mounted mirror has degraded considerably, and as far as I know there are no OEM or Repro parts available.

Has anyone tried using any of the films that are available similar to these to improve the mirror performance?

Hi Nigel,

My original mirror had started to show a spotting effect from age. and i replaced it with a repro mirror from Ohio Mustang. The swap over was a breeze, as i kept the original mounting block that is glued to the glass screen, and slid the new mirror over the block without any trouble.

A decent product very much on par with the original Ford mirror, and well priced too i thought.

They are available at your local auto parts stores also. A perfect appearing repo is not available. The parts store version looks good and functions well. Cost is $14-$16 USD.
