My 71 351C 4V is missing the choke plate and all the things attached to it. Are these parts gonna be hard to find or should I just try and find an entire carb? What aftermarket carb is a good fit? Thanks for the help.

I like holley carbs and barry grant deamon carbs I would recomend a 650-750cfm carb with vac secondarys for auto trans and mechanical sec for manual trans. Reason being otherwise you will have "a dead spot" where the car just won't preform.

I'm running the Frankencarb. It's a 600 vac secondary main body with a 750 base plate metering blocks and bowls (basically whatever I could get cheap / free). I've added a quick change secondary spring kit and am planning an electric choke kit.

I would recommend the 670 Street Avenger if you are replacing the carb and you have a "square" flange manifold. If you have a spreadbore intake the riginal style carb is a good bet.
