I am very curious ( and a little dubious, too!) of Ford's ability to build such a high-performance engine featuring the flat-plane crank design and make it durable enough for a typical "Ford" retail price point
Plus, a flat-planer sounds completely different than a typical American V-8. Engine sound is a primal thing, and people identify an engine with its sound. Ask a Harley guy about "potato, potato..."
So...if its a hit, the percieved personality and character of the car will change somewhat.
