I did see those parts listed...thank you. But these cars are Fords, not Ferraris, and at that price I just have to laugh.:D

These are not the brackets I need. The application is 1971 Mustang fastback with fold down rear seat and trap door that opens into the truck. The brackets bolt in and are only about 4" to 5" wide. Thank you for replying!

Would it be different for a 73? Mine is a fold down seat with trap door... See pic.

Yes, the '71 is a different design. Thanks for the picture and it looks like the '73 version is a design improvement. I'd upgrade using your brackets but this original barn-find is worth keeping original. Thanks!

Do you still have those brackets, the ones you show in the picture? I have a 72 FB. Would they work?

Yes, I still have the old brackets in the picture. Are you looking for a good set for your '72, or do you have a good set you would be willing to part with? Thanks for reading this post.

Depends on your definition of "good." They aren't swiss cheese, but will need to be stripped and refinished. One has a crack that will need to be repaired.

Looks like I could bolt them in the way they are. perhaps that crack is not too bad. Can it be welded?
