73 Mustang Under Rear Window Part

So this part in pics on my 73 Mach 1 is old and dirty. Does anyone know what is it called and if they sell it. Or people spray it with paint to restore it. My car is does not have the fold down rear.

it's generally called a package tray, back when I had my 73 with the non fold down seat I covered mine with some black vinyl I picked up at a fabric store.

That is some flashy upholstery. What is the story on that?

I used a piece of cardboard to make a template to fit that area. Then traced that onto a thin piece of wood paneling and covered it with speaker box carpet.
