Showing Off Again, and Why Not.

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Well it seems i just can't help my self these days. I spotted some nifty plastic chrome letters the other day at my local auto shop, and couldn't resist buying a few to make up my birth name initials, and wack them on the back of my Stang to show off some, and show the pride. This idea or look may not be every ones cup of tea, but oh well, what can you say, it's all good fun!

Looks like my ego could be running away with me, but what the heck, i reckon they look pretty good. I think it gives your Mustang that personal touch. It's like putting your signature on your car.The trick is not to put up anything silly.:P Here's a website that deals in them plus a couple of pics.

It looks good to me and its not like you did anything like drill holes for. I remember my Dad had a 69 LTD and he had his initial on the door done in pin stripe.

Going fast is fun but life is short so slow down and enjoy the ride :D Frank

Our 1922 Detroit Electric has the original owner's initials on the driver's door, LEB for Lucie E Bissell

Oh, you scored one of the rare GWS special editions!!! That's so cool! :)

Hi Mike,

Yeah, it's the VIP, GWS limited, limited special edition, one of one of one '73 Mach 1 which was privately owned by the General Manager of Ford!:D:D: This baby's worth over $100,000.00 for sure!!!:P

No need to be jealous though. I still think your Vert has got some appeal.:P

Greg,

I would say: "why not" :D

It makes it to your own special edition - that's quite cool :)

When "Mach 1" is not enough... :D:D:D

Btw: I did not know you have a blue Mach 1 too - looks fantastic!!!

Mama took her stang out for a drive yesterday - shopping, and she had people checking out her car and asking all kinds of questions about it and she could answer all of their questions. her pulse quickens a little when she just hears it running, and the smile on her face when she's behind the wheel, It's my job to remind her where "home" is....

As a crazy modifier I love it! Only wish I had thought of it! lol Although this wouldn't be the first time I plagiarized one of your ideas! Just ask Mustang Dynasty! :D:cool::D

Wait till you see me invent the "MC/GT" convertible. One of none, so rare it has not yet been made. :)

I like that...my one of one will be a JH/GT. Let the questions begin...I already hear a ton of people saying "wow, I never knew Ford offered this interior package" especially in reference to my white gauges. I accomplished my goal of all looking factory installed and tasteful! The marking would really throw them for a loop!

:idea::idea: thinking about it :idea::idea:

Once again, I will play devils advocate, and not by choice. To me, the stick on chrome letters scream JC Whitney, or PEP Boys. Not a good look in my humble opinion.

But to each their own, that is the beauty of it.
