Check this out. A new company in Naples, Italy takes up an old idea and gives it a new twist.

A handmade roadster, designed and built in Italy with American V8 power.

But, not any kind of V8, no, the V8 5.0L 32V DOHC Ti-VCT from the Mustang.

Think Cobras and Panteras.

I will gladly accept any offer to help me fund one of them. :)

Viewed from the 3/4 front perspective the rear quarters reminded me a lot of a BMW Z4. I kept looking for reference that these cars were based on Z4s but I couldn't find anything, so I guess that was just my mistake.

:)

I see it more like a Pantera as opposed to a Cobra or an Alpine.

The Pantera was designed from the beginning to use the Ford Cleveland engine, whereas the Cobra ( and others) were existing economical foriegn sports cars with smaller engines that had powerful American V-8s stuffed into them and other mods to ( hopefully) make it all work together.

I agree: it looks very Z-4 ish to me.

beautiful.... I hope they are not copied by Honda or Pontiac

Windshield is from a Pontiac Solstice, but it sits much farther forward than stock. Probably doesn't have Solstice underpinnings.
