Mustang junk yard

Just thought I would post this link to craigslist post. It is a local Mustang Junk yard here in North Carolina. If this is the guy I think he had like 18 Shelby's back in the 70's and sold all of them. There use to be a crashed 427 cobra in the yard but I am sure it has been pulled out and sold. He only has Mustangs and maybe some other Fords that are sought after.

Wow that is so much good parts there!! But why is it not been taken off the good stuff on them. Before Now it's to Late for most of them [DISAPPOINTED FACE] There is so much good stuff that could have been shaved! But that Wee don't have hear in Denmark graveyard's with Mustang parts!! I guess you checked on the clips I had already asked the same question, lol

They are hens teeth for sure and I will have a repo of the single switch bezel clips done in a few weeks so no worries after that on the clips. I will also do the drivers door bezel clips but they are not so difficult to find. It took me 8 months to find two good clips to use to get dimensions.

I will post when they are ready will probably sell in sets of 6 and will have to see what the tooling and production costs are before I can price them. They will not be the current $35.00 each that West Coast Cougar gets for them.

For members that do not know what they look like I took a couple pictures with scale and nickel by them so if anyone has any you know they are sought after. Not very good pictures good camera died.

Some good things to be had.

Can you imagine the pandemonium if all the forum members on this site were to descend on that Mustang yard with our wish lists all at once!! Every time I scroll through those pictures, I see something else I would like. In fact the one that shows the sports roof with the green deck lid caught my eye. In the fore ground is what appears to be a red Fox Mustang with T tops. Last year for those was 1988 and are becoming very difficult to find. I've got some Fox Mustang friends who would kill for that car whether its a rust bucket or not!

I bet we could build a few decent cars, with very few new parts needed from some of the cars that are sitting there!

He has a bunch of Fox bodies in there!

The pictures someone put up is a yard up north. The one in N.C. is near Spindale, Rutherforton. I have not been there since the 70's. Me and a friend went there looking for some parts for a 65 T-5 fastback I was doing for him. That is the time frame he had so many Shelby's, I think 18 at one time. They were not worth that much then. I wish I had a picture of the 427 AC Cobra that was just a wad of aluminum in the junk yard. If I remember right someone that worked for him got killed in it. He sold all the Shelby's to someone up in the New England area and thought he made a killing but not by today's prices.

I need to venture out and see if he is still open I think that was the ad on cl that I posted.

I do not have any info on the yard. All I was told was that it was in north east U.S.. Doesn't look like much was taken more like a hoard that a junk yard.

Wow! Amazing photos. That place must be a veritable goldmine! So much cool stuff.
