I was just reading about the tornadoes; hope everyone in that area is fine.

Just checked on Chuck (c9zx). He and his family are all ok. I'm ok too.

Probably the highest straight winds I have ever experienced. Quite a bit of damage in Moore - very near me.

Got some strong hail...

BTW that is one of those new US quarters!

Just heard from members Chris Womack and SuperMustang - they are both ok as well. I think everyone is a little unnerved by it all.

Man, they are scary.. I been in one twister in my life in Missouri where i got some family, and it scared the hell out of me.. Lightning started hitting so close by me it rung my ears like a gun shot, i could smell the electricity. i ran inside fast as i could . and hail started to fall, then a local twister siren warning fired off.. We hid in the basement, twister dropped a block away from us and went back up.

I can now say I have been within 100yards of two tornados all in less than two years. I guess that is something. (Both times I was not at home)

My 1978 F250 almost got damaged. Damage was everywhere around it but not a single new dent on it.
