Coupe versus Fastback Roof Structure?

1973 Grande #1 looong time ago
1970 Sportsroof #2 almost as long
1971 Sportsroof M-code #3 needs money
2008 GT #4 where the money went
Anyone know offhand if the understructure of the roof is the same or different on coupes and fastbacks? I need to fix some of the structure where the shoulder belt attaches and wondering if the coupe piece will work for the fastback.

It is different from the beltline up, however you may be able to rework a coupe piece to work.

 
You could use a piece up to about 6" or so. The difference in the in a piece will be incidental. It will work fine. Using a whole side would be a tough to work in, as the upward curve is greater on the sports roof model.

 
This is the area I need to replace. It's not the roof itself but the reinforcement underneath.
