Ok it is a 66 gas cap in pretty good shape. I can take outside and get some better pics if you want. Looked around the net and used ones not as good are listed for mid 40's and a repo around 50. So I would offer this one up for $40.00 plus shipping.

Ok so it'd not really a mystery either. I got one hanging in my garage wall next to the 65 gas cap and a 72 gas cap. they make nice decorations. 40.00 is a far price for a nice one like yours. good luck.

 
Might just be the picture but I don't see a Ford logo or P/N, so it

might be repro
