My Car
It's my wife's automobile and her name is Ina.
She is the original owner. 1972 Ford Mustang Hardtop; all original parts;low mileage approx:50k; garaged but needs major work over all.
Hello everyone; I'm Howard and new to the Forum. I have a 1972 Ford mustang my wifes the original owner approximately 60k miles

garaged and taken off the road 1992. This will be a new experience for me; minor experience and knowledge on repairs. I need all

the help and input I can get. I have to give myself an "A+" I installed new battery, distributor, points, condensor,wires, plugs. Car

started up okay. I only let it run less than a minute; I need to set the points and do other major repairs including welding.

I need a reliable place to get parts and tools and equipment"free shipping" would also help. I'm located in a small town called Norton.

Norton Massachusetts.........Thanks.

Welcome to the site from Virginia. You will find a lot of help and tips here, if you can't find the answer you need searching the forums, just ask. The great your wife is the original owner. I bet she is glad she hung onto the car all these years.

Welcome from RI. From MA? Have you ever gone to the cruise night in Sams Club parking lot in Seekonk? Not sure how far your town Is from Seekonk but if you are close enough I go up there once in a while. I'd love to see another mustang from this forum when/if it's drivable

And here we love pics of our cars, so... ;)

Welcome from eastern Tennessee! ::welcome::

For parts, you should definitely check out Ohio Mustang Supply. They don't have free shipping, but Don is a wealth of information and doesn't mind sharing. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your car.

Welcome from down south in N.C.. Sounds like you are on your way to enjoy yourself. You can learn a lot from this group someone has already done it and knows what to look for so ask for help.

The pawn shops here are loaded with tools and equipment from brand name welders to any hand tool. You have to watch out they price them high sometimes. I got a Lincoln wire welder for half retail and it had never been hooked up.
