New 3.50 track lock is in

Recommended Posts

Finished installing my new 3.50 track lock diff today. Tested very nicely in front of my house. When the smoke cleared I was quickly chastised by a neighbor. I don't think he's a car guy.

I thought it was around a 3.0 open by counting wheel vs shaft revolutions but found it was actually a 3.25 open when I pulled it. It's a small difference but noticeable.

Congrates on the 3.50 track lock! I had a 2.75/FMX in mine which absolutely sucked. Went with a 3.50 limited slip to mate up to my 4r70w. I'm 6 months out before my test drive but I can't wait.

Tell the neighbor that you are doing scientific before and after experiments!

And that the tires and the bitumen are your lab instruments!

(Next time wear a white lab coat will ya)

Forgive my stupidity, Jim. I had to look up bitumen.

If he were, he'd have waited till you parked it and brought over a pair of cold beers to discuss the new addition.

Dead giveaway.
