Pics from local car show

Recommended Posts

Went to my local classic car meet today in Hambledon, Oxfordshire and thought I'd share the pics. There were a few American cars there but most were British. You can see my car doesn't really blend in, but that's how I like it!

That Lambo takes me back. When I was a kid (mid-late 80's), I knew if I could just get me one of those, all the world's problems would be solved. I had no less than half a dozen posters of them on my wall. And Carol Alt. Carol Alt and a Countach was all I needed.....

I chatted to the guy that owned it, he said it stops traffic. Everyone takes pictures of it every where. And he said it doesn't cost that much to service it at a specialist. He has bills of $1200 a year. He said a dealer will charge $8000 per year though!

Cool pics - thanks for sharing.

Your car doesn't need to blend. It stands very well on its own.

Thanks for sharing the pics Mark.

Your Mustang's looking very beautiful on the green i must say, and some great cars on show as well.

Well, your car may not blend in but you were the only one there that could expect his car to fire up and take you home after the show. All those British classics can't guarantee you that. :)

Thanks for sharing those pics. I am always interested at seeing cars that are collected in different parts of the world.

Thanks for sharing and your car definitely stands out in a good way. Love the E3ULL plate, I thought it said BULL when I first saw it

Thanks for sharing - great pictures!

Love the picture with the Lambo and your son - this could be me - at that age a Countach was the most desiring car!

But among the other cars your car stands really out ::thumb::
