Aw MAN!! That is SO sad to see - I'm one of those weirdos that love the Lotus Esprits in their "normal" form (with wheels that drive and everything).

 

As "cool" as that is (I suppose :rolleyes: ), it's just not as cool to me as a real version of the car.

That's one expensive submarine!

 

I've always loved Esprit's since that movie and have owned my car for 13 years now. It goes like stink, doesn't rot and is trouble free, unlike my Mustang! Here's a pic:

Not sure how I feel about that submarine-car. Its pretty neat and would be cool to see in person

nice w/targa top but still-nothings beat our convertible mustangs with hurricane force blowing AC even with the top down.

i think that was restored on a tv show AMERICAN RESTORATION the car is mostley a shell it was a movie prop
