Hi guys,

Lot of discussion about this in a couple of threads. Came across this while looking for something else and thought I would post. The stall speed of the smaller (10.25") CJ converter has been discussed over and over with a lot differing opinions on stall speed. Well here it is straight from the 6/73 Service specs. This is for a 73, the 71/72 may differ.

And the final answer is 2200-2400 rpm which is an increase of 700 rpm over the 351 2V.

awesome thanks jeff.

i also note that stock for my car would of been 1500-1700 as a 2V

i went with a 1600-1800 converter from TCI so it should be what i wanted if everything fits :D

The 72 4v/CJ was different 2750-2900. I will look through my specs, obviously different part number too.
