I see a lot of things going on there:

  • I see a what looks to be a nicely restored '73 Mustang
  • I see a lot of nice "Go-Fast Goodies" under the hood
  • I see lots of custom upholstery
  • a LOT of orange (which doesn't look all THAT bad, actually)

I do not see, however:

  • export braces
  • a 1973 Mach 1 (I see more 'sportsroof' details than Mach 1)
  • a $55,000 car

the shifter knob looks like its from a Toyota Camry lol

Shifter is a stock T-5 Foxbody piece. Might make a nice driver with a roller cammed 5.0 in front of it.

I really like the colors, always have... they're my high school colors...

Nice ride, but I agree, not for that amount.

Agree with Eric in that I see a pretty straight body that at least hadn't been modded to the point it looks like something from Corvette Summer. Like what I see goin' on under the hood. Might run like a pig but it looks good. If the interior makes your eyes cross, it does look like it could be returned to stock.

But it does look like he did not get the memo from the 65-70 Mustang "Experts" who say our cars are not worth anything! At $55,000 I feel like this one may set for a while unless someone really wants it worse than a mint Boss 351 or 429 CJ/SCJ!
