Hi Jeremy,

I posted an article on doing a complete trunk make over for my'73 Vert a while ago. To some extent, similar rules would apply to doing a Mach as well.

Check it out, it may be of good help and inspiration to you.::thumb::

BTW - I THOUGHT I WOULD THROW IN A COUPLE OF EXTRA ARTICLES I POSTED ON TRUNK ALIGHNMENT AND GAS STRUTS AS WELL.

Many thanks,

I would be curious as well. In particular something to prevent items from falling down into the rear quarters.
That is where this started. I want to make sure nothing reached the 1/4s and then I decided I wanted to dress things up.

I also plan to reuse the original grille pony somehow and have dads signature sown into the upholstery.

The guy today suggested coming all the way over to where the drop off begins and just block it all off.

I finally had the trunk completed this last week and had something special done with a tire cover. I had his signature placed on a tire cover and then I added the original grille pony to it. I'm not 100% happy with it, but for the most part it is ok. I've missed him lately and so it is fitting that I am getting this done close to the 45th birthday of the car and my first car show of the season.

Not the best lighting and it needs vacuuming, but still looks pretty good. I will post more when I'm outside and it gets a better cleaning.

Oh and the two lumps on the left were extra material that were turned into bags for the jack and handle.

Love it. Looks clean and OEM. It almost looks like some sort of black spray liner (in a good way).
