hey guys

 

mainly here for questions and buying stuff!

 

I am restoring my moms 1971 mustang, its been repainted 3 times, bondo'd up, driver qrt panel wrecked, motors locked up, brakes locked down, floor and trunk pans rusted out, Exhaust rotted and brake lines rotted.

 

 

so ive got my work ahead of me, cars been sitting sense 1987 so been sitting almost 30 years.

 

she will have

2014 dodge dart seats(front and hopefully rear)

2011-2014 mustang gt 18'' rims

painted back to the original grabber yellow

Hello from North Carolina. Sounds like you like to be punished, lol. You might need to buy another car and use this one for parts. That is a lot of sheet metal and mechanical s to replace. Don't take on too much and never get done with the first one.

Hello from Mississippi. Ownership not required, enthusiasm welcomed. You are defiantly at the right place, as many of our members have faced projects as daunting as yours. When I lived in SC, a shop tech and I used to take a couple of Mustang's to the annual Mustang Club of America show at D&D Motors there in Greer. Used to see a lot of Shelby's and Boss cars there. Good luck on your project and welcome aboard!!!

C6 with Gear Vendor overdrive, 3.89 Tru Trac, Hooker Super Comp with 2 1/2" Pypes Exhaust.

73 Grande H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, Quick Fuel 750 CFM double pumper, AirGap intake.
