If there are any members out there that are considering restoring a British made classic car and you need someone to source parts here in the U.K. I would be more than happy to assist. Some British cars have new parts made here in the U.K. Then there are the ones that are recognised as concours acceptable parts which use the original tooling. The most well known are the E-Type Jaguar. I can buy a brand new body shell from a company 5 miles away and the metalwork is all done using original Jaguar tooling.

I don't know what the U.S government charge for imports from the U.K. I could put a value on customs form that you wish if thats your preference and want to save money on import charges

That's a nice offer. I use to help someone in Australia with obtaining parts for his Mach 1. He would have multiple shipments sent to my address (some were free shipping here in US) and I would combine into a single shipment.

I have a 1960 MGA that I have owned since the mid-70's, but never finished the restoration. I have accumulated most of the parts for it, but will probably end up selling the project.

MG are one one those manufacturers that are fortunate in getting concours acceptable parts. You may want to check out resale prices of MGA's outside the U.S. especially here in the U.K. You may want to consider bringing it up to good daily driver and selling here in the U.K. You get quite a few cars imported into Europe from America on this site;

This will give you some idea what American/European imports are selling for by dealers across Europe
