Howdy
I have owned two 73 mustangs in my life. The first was a stock Mach I. Got it when I was 16, got wrecked by a drunk driver when I was 20. Replaced it with a 73 drop top, grabbed the guages and some of the other stuff out of the Mach I. I have owned the drop top ever since (27 or so years now).
The convertible used to be my daily driver so it has been through a lot. Always been a rolling resto. Needs a little bit of TLC but looks good at a distance.
Mods:
9" 3.50 gears
Global West sub frame connectors
Traction bars (the under spring shelby style)
Global West Strut Rods
C6
Powered by a mildly built 351C. 4bbl heads, 4 bolt, comp 270 cam, forged pistons, hookers, glass packs, rhodes lifters and topped with a tri-power (350 cfm center and two 500 on the outside). Keep in mind 2bbls are rated different than 4bbls so it's not as extreme as it sounds...
I will post some pics soon.
