Checking on Summit Racing for headers. Any comments about FlowTech headers? Spec's are 18 gauge steel VS. Hookers which are 16 gauge. FlowTech also requires a PS replacement bracket. $50 more for Hooker.

Personally, I would go with the Hookers. For only $50 extra, they are a heavier gauge, and will probably fit better too.

 
Just read Doc's old post on headers and looks like most go with HOOKERS.

Also curious abouts Droptops comment that you don't gain much with adding headers. PO just add duel pipes, no H-pipe, What's to gain? My reason is my system rubs to body and would need to be dropped at least 1-2 inches coming off the manifolds, so headers would probably be less labor then custom cutting and lowering
