Anybody use the Scott Drake "heavy" aluminum sill plates? Are they any good? I was thinking of going with the stainless but saw the Scott Drakes and thought I would ask. My car has the cheap Flimsy aluminum ones now and they suck!!

My experience so far...aluminum is great for factory appearance (good for shows) , but not so great for looking good for any length of time since they scratch / scuff easily. I switched to stainless and so far (3 years) they have resisted serious scuffing / marring pretty well.

I don't know about you, but getting in and out of the car and dragging a foot across the sill plate just seems to happen most of the time.
