I was thinking about doing the same thing to mine but haven't figured out all the parts I need yet, still a long way away from playing with the engine. What i'm curious about tho is.... how much $$?

Very nice build, well done. Chuck
Not mine unfortunately Chuck. I have gone back to the darkside SBC's.

Will be building a hydraulic roller 383 sbc that will be a real street 570-620hp deal. I could start a thread if people are interested

Being in the state's it would be a lot cheaper than here. Use stock 4Vs that would keep cost down and still hit these numbers

Pretty similar to my build. Im guessing around $10k.

Best part of all it will sit in traffic, good vacuum for brakes, idle nicely and pull hard off the line and keep pulling. That's only a mild type of streeter these days over here, a few years back these were near race engines, lol.If I didn't want to run the Ram Air I'd be using one of the CHI dual plane intakes, but the Scott Cook dual plane isn't too far off, so it'll do and can still run the Ram Air. After I've had my fun with the crap 4V heads, I seriously think a set of CHI or Scott Cook heads are on the cards and want to see the difference just as a bolt on before any reworking of them and the after they've been done. Hence the reason why the bottom end is built the way it is. Don't worry mate I'm still kicking myself over those rods, lol.
