Cudo's to Rocketfoot

Question

To Rocketfoot;

Just thought I'd say that I find the new site very easy to use overall. Deleting unnecessary text or pictures is a snap now and that cuts down on the length of reply posts. I have experienced no real issues uploading either.

My ONLY complaint is the density of the text. I would like to see it much darker for my/our old eyes to read. Even the "post reply" buttons and the like could be several shades darker if that is at all possible.

Other than that, well done! Your hard work to improve "OUR" site is very much appreciated by this member.

Geoff. I agree. New site is great. I found it easier to read everything if you switch to the darkstang. Black and gray are a lot easier to see for me.

Go to the bottom left corner of the screen. There is a drop down to select a different theme.

WOW!!! That's different. I'll try it for a while and see if I like it. if not. perhaps Rocketfoot can alter the original. We can only say "Pretty Please"!!

I like Darkstang because it is easier to see where the signature break is.

But some of the dark blue font on black is a little difficult to read for my old eyes. :)

Agreed, so I'll give it a whirl for a while and 'see' which I like best. However if it is at all possible, I would welcome the original text and the lighter grey areas darkened up a tad. Just my thought on an otherwise great site and thinking about the large number of non-members viewing the site maybe for the first time. First impressions count.

I am getting used to the new site and to the new features of the search tool. What i miss is that i used to go to my console and inmediately know if there are any updates in threads i had subscribed. I can see updates for threads i have started but not for those i have subscribed as i was able to with the old site.
