Hi everyone i been away for a while. Back now. I see we got a new layout!! Not sure if i am a fan yet. Time will tell. I suppose anything new is a challenge until you get to know how it operates. Much the same as our beloved Mustangs,
So, all my parts have now arrived from across the pond and ready to start getting the engine re-assembled and fit everything else under the hood that belongs there. It took 2 months for the valves, valve guides and valve springs to arrive from the States. I will post some pics once the engine bay is finished.
Next phase will be the undercarriage, front wheel arches and trunk;
New drivers floor pan
New drivers side trunk drop off panel
New gas tank with seals and straps
New leaf springs
New saddles
Trunk weatherstrip.
Spray the wheel arches, undercarriage and trunk area.
I asked my local store if they have spare wheel, clamp and jack. Hope they have as it will save a fortune in shipping fees across the pond and customs.
I will make a decision on brake lines, disc brakes and drum brakes once i have given them a thorough inspection and see if they can be made to look new again.
