Just a suggestion. While you're at it, order the clutch shaft bearing kit from Mustang Steve. I put one on mine and it works great, but I did need to thin down and slightly angle the two pieces that hold the bearing race as I think it was designed for a 70. Still no big issue and it really takes the load of pushing the clutch pedal. Also, if you're using a diaphragm style clutch, Centerforce, Ram etc. lose the big helper spring unless you're putting a long finger clutch back in, but then you knew that!
I just thought of something else you may not be aware of. IF your car has power brakes, you will need a brake pedal with the pin 2" lower than for a non-power brake pedal. You can get the replacement pin from Mustang Steve, drill a hole and weld in it, so if you cannot get the appropriate pedal set, it can be changed. The pedal set above is for manual brakes
