Getting down to the last few items needed. 72 Mach 1 and I need the metal support that goes behind the bumper. Thinking of going with chrome bumper and the entire front was missing on this car.

cobra94svt, Ford called that the front bumper reinforcement. "D1ZZ-17A792-A" was used for both the chrome and urethane front bumpers in 71-72. (Bumper arms are also the same) As far as I know it is not being reproduced at this time. I would check with Don (OMS) or Mike at Motor City Mustang. They are forum member/vendors here who have parts cars and have helped many over the years. There is one showing on Rear Counter (a parts broker) and lists the contact info where the part is located. I did a search last October and they were showing the same part, so the selling price may be scaring people away.  The store that shows the part has left the "A" off the part number and erroneously listed it also fitting a 73.

I guess until we start feeling the same love the 65-70 group gets from the repo folks, this is just another part to add to our wish list!
