I'm working on my '73 Convertible with 351C 2v engine. It has P/S and A/C. I have 2 other '73 Mach 1's with 351 engines and they both have all stamped steel pulleys.
The '73 'vert has a cast iron crankshaft pulley and a cast iron P/S pulley.
I've worked on and around Mustangs for a long time and haven't seen cast iron pulleys like this on any other vehicle. Everything looks to be original. The casting numbers are correct date wise. The alternator is even original to the car.
Anyone else seen cast iron pulleys and know the rhyme or reason behind them??
