Seems the previous owner  was correct when he told me his Dad ordered the coupe with what he would have wanted in a Mach 1 but did not like the sport roof back window (Cobra Jet motor, 4 speed, power discs,  comp suspension, appearance package. etc).

I was lucky enough to find the build sheet and obtain the original invoice.

That is a nice coupe for sure.

I went to the Mustang by the Numbers book that Marti published and again find another discrepancy in the numbers on the Marti report and in the book. Your Marti says they made 272 with four speed, Q and the book says 344, humm. So more coupes with 4 speed than verts, 201 verts. Q code 4 speed. 2,598 fastback and Mach 1.

Did I read it wrong won't be first time.
