Antenna install

Recommended Posts

My antenna holes have been welded shut for many years. I just bought a new reproduction antenna (not cheap) that came with a stencil kit for drilling the holes in the fender. Anyway, the location of the original holes was still visible from underneath the fender.

It is easier if you remove the glove box. The antenna wire should be right behind it. One end connects to the radio connector and the other goes thru a grommet to the antenna.

Its one of the easier things I've done on the car where I didnt hurt myself in some way or break something else.
