Hello and welcome to the Forum from North Carolina, U.S.A.. How did you get the car into China? When I lived there I was told no old classic cars could be brought into China. I lived in Shanghai for 4 months and then Wuxi and Wuhu for 13 months. I did not mind it except for the air and I gained about 10 kilos in one year, you eat too much, lol. I had to have sinus surgery upon my return to U.S.A..

We all need and want pictures. I guess the car came through Japan?

Welcome from Oklahoma.

It's a long shot but almost sounds like your car is a Shelby Europa.

Need to order the Marti Report from Marti Auto Works.

Pics would help a lot too.

There is only 1 Shelby Europa with a 429, it’s a fastback not a convertible.

Classic cars in China are EXTREMELY rare because you technically can't register then so you can't legally drive them. I met a man in Shanghai who had a 70 Mach 1 in his living room. It was brought into China through Vietnam in the back of a truck over dirt road trails. He told me he spent twice what the car was worth getting it into the country in transportation and bribes.

You have to be both wealthy and an enthusiast to possess a classic Mustang in China.
