Turn signal switch

I recently bough an aftermarket wiring harness, and have ran into some problems with wiring the turn signal switch into it. Ive searched all over the net and have ordered a few different wiring harness diagrams but havnt been able to find what i need. Would anyone know the color codes or which wire runs to what from the turn signal switch? Thanks in advance.

Go to the Mustang Data tab at the top this page and download the wiring diagram for your car.

You are talking about the curved connector on the column under the dash? The plug has a plastic piece you pull out and take each pin connector our and put the new wire in? I think I have it but will have to go look. What year 73 a little different.

I didn’t re-create the connector but I did put a new turn signal switch and wiring. I documented the process on my blog:

Yes it’s the curved connector but no wiring diagram shows wha each individual wire goes to, my new wiring harness isn’t the same colors as my turn signal switch

Color codes:

Blue: turn signal flasher line

Green/red: left side rear turn signal

orange/blue: right side rear turn signal

white/red: emergency flasher line

Yellow or yellow/blue: incoming horn power

Blue/yellow or yellow/blue: outgoing horn power

white/blue: right side front turn signal

green/white: left side front turn signal

green: brake light signal

black or black/red or black/white: door ajar
